قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ع غَيُوراً وَ أَنَا أَغْيَرُ مِنْهُ وَ جَدَعَ اللَّهُ أَنْفَ مَنْ لَا يَغَارُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.

4. Ibn Mahbub has narrated from more than one person who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Ibrahim, ‘Alayhi al-Salam was vigilant and protective and I am more vigilant and protective than he was. Allah cuts-off the noses of those who do not exercise vigilance in favor of the believing and Muslims.’”
