5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al-Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah from ‘Adhafir al-Sayrafiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), asked, ‘Do you see those who are born with deformities?’ I replied, ‘Yes, I see them.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is because their fathers go to bed with their wives during their experiencing Hayd (menses).”’
