6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn Qabisah from ‘Abd Allah al-Naysaburi from Harun ibn Muslim from Abu Musa from Abu al-‘Ala’ al-Shami from Sufyan al-Thawri from Abu Ziyad from al-Hassan ibn Ali (a.s.), who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah (s.w) has said, ‘Feed your women, during their pregnancy, frankincense; if a child receives frankincense for nourishment in the mother’s womb it strengthens the heart of the child and increases the reasoning power of the child. If the child is a male he grows up brave and if the child is female her posterior will grow large which is favorable to her husband.’”
