عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ آدَمَ عَنِ الْكَاهِلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

الْعَقِيقَةُ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ وَ يُعْطَى الْقَابِلَةَ الرِّجْلُ مَعَ الْوَرِكِ وَ لَا يُكْسَرُ الْعَظْمُ.

11. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from his father from Zakariya ibn Adam from al-Kahiliy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘On the seventh day from the birth of a child ‘Aqiqah must be offered. One leg and hip of the animal offered as ‘Aqiqah should be given to al-Qabilah (the special nurse, doctor) and the bones should not be broken.’”
