فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقامُوا التَّوْراةَ وَ الْإِنْجِيلَ وَ ما أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ الْوَلَايَةُ.

6. Muhammad ibn Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from RibIsma‘il ibn ‘Abdallah from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Gracious, “Had they followed the Laws of the Old and New Testaments and what was revealed to them from their Lord,. .” (5:66) The Imam (a.s.) said, “It refers to Wilaya, (Leadership with Divine Authority).”
