سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْمَعْتُوهَةِ الذَّاهِبَةِ الْعَقْلِ أَ يَجُوزُ بَيْعُهَا وَ صَدَقَتُهَا قَالَ لَا وَ عَنْ طَلَاقِ السَّكْرَانِ وَ عِتْقِهِ قَالَ لَا يَجُوزُ.

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Abdul Kareem, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws , said, ‘I asked him asws about the demented woman with the intellect gone, is her selling and her charity allowed?’ He asws ; ‘No’. And about a divorce by the intoxicated and his emancipation, he asws said: ‘Not allowed’.
