9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ’Isma’il ibn Marrar from Yunus from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the hunting of falcons which it catches and eats thereof; if the remaining can be used for food. He (the Imam) said, ‘Whatever birds eat do not use it for food unless you slaughter it properly.’”
