Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Najran from ‘Asem ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin, about a prey that is found dead with an arrow in it and it is not known who has killed it, said, ’Do not use it for food.’”
