قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ع رُبَّمَا أُتِيَ بِالْمَائِدَةِ فَأَرَادَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ يَدَهُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ كَانَتْ يَدُهُ نَظِيفَةً فَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ يَدَهُ.

13. Ahmad has narrated from his father from Sulayman al-Ja‘fariy who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), when food was made available and certain people had not washed their hands, would say, ‘Those whose hands are clean can eat without washing their hands.’”
