1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Musa ibn al-Hassan from Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn abu Mahmud from his father in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that when Yusuf (Joseph) was in jail, he complained before his Lord, most Majestic, most Glorious, about eating bread alone and asked for sauce and there were a great deal of pieces of dry bread with him. He commanded him to place the bread in a pot, pour water on it with salt and it became Mury. He (a.s.) used it as sauce.”’
