15. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ibn Baqqah from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah al-Khayyat or al-Qammat from Yazid ibn ‘Abd al-Malik who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘If one eats pomegranate his heart becomes bright and whosoever’s heart Allah brightens Satan is kept away from him.’ I then asked, ‘What kind of pomegranate is this? I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause? He (the Imam) said, ‘It is the one from Sur (name of a place near Baghdad), this one?”
