تْ أَتَانِي أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيٌّ ع فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأُتِيَ بِعَشَاءٍ وَ تَمْرٍ وَ كَمْأَةٍ فَأَكَلَ ع وَ كَانَ يُحِبُّ الْكَمْأَةَ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from abu Basir from Fatimah daughter Ali from ’Umamah daughter of abu al-‘Ass ibn al-Rabi‘ and her mother, Zaynab daughter the Messenger of Allah who has said the following: “Once ’Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali (a.s.), in the month of Ramadan came to me. For dinner, he brought dates and truffles. He (the Imam) ate it and he liked truffles.’”
