عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ الرِّضَا ع عَنْ جُلُودِ الْخَزِّ فَقَالَ هُوَ ذَا نَلْبَسُ الْخَزَّ فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ ذَاكَ الْوَبَرُ فَقَالَ إِذَا حَلَّ وَبَرُهُ حَلَّ جِلْدُهُ.

7. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Sa‘d ibn Sa‘d who has said the following: “I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), about the al-Khazz (skin or fur of an animal that lives in water). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is al-Khazz that we wear.’ I then said, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, that is fur.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘If its fur is lawful so also is its skin.’”
