سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ع يَقُولُ الْمَشْطُ يَذْهَبُ بِالْوَبَاءِ وَ كَانَ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مُشْطٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَتَمَشَّطُ بِهِ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Muhammad ibn Ishaq from ‘Ammar al-Nawfaliy from his father who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan (a.s.), saying, ‘Combing dispels al-Waba’. Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), had a comb in (for) the Masjid which he used after completing Salat (prayer).”’
