كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ص يَقُولُ أَلَا لَا يَسْتَلْقِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْحَمَّامِ فَإِنَّهُ يُذِيبُ شَحْمَ الْكُلْيَتَيْنِ وَ لَا يَدْلُكَنَّ رِجْلَيْهِ بِالْخَزَفِ فَإِنَّهُ يُورِثُ الْجُذَامَ.

19. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan al-Taymiy from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘You must not lie down on your back in the bathhouse; it melts the fat of kidneys and must not rub your feet with pottery because it may cause leprosy.”’
