كَانَتْ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع قَارُورَةُ مِسْكٍ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ لِلصَّلَاةِ أَخَذَ مِنْهُ فَتَمَسَّحَ بِهِ.

6. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ya‘qub ibn Yazid from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Fadl al-Nawfaliy who has said that narrated to me my father from his father from his uncle Ishaq ibn ‘Abd Allah from his father ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Harith who has said the following: “Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, had a bottle of musk in the Masjid. When he came for Salat (prayer) he would take it and rub on himself.’”
