3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-‘Amrakiy ibn Ali from Ali ibn Ja‘far from his brother abu al-Hassan (a.s.), who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the saddle and the rein in which silver is used; if it can be used. He (the Imam) said, ‘If it is in a whitewashing (painted) form which cannot be removed, then it is not harmful, otherwise, you must not ride with it.’”
