Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hassan ibn Hammad from ibn Miskin from Mushma‘il ibn Sa‘d from abu Basir who has narrated the following: “About the case of a man who dies and leaves behind his parents, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is from three shares, one share for the mother and two for the father.’”
