Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has narrated the following: “About the case of a woman who freed a man and about with whom rests his guardianship and to who belongs his legacy, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Such things rest with the one who has bought his freedom, unless he has other heirs besides her.’”
