عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

الرَّجْمُ حَدُّ اللَّهِ الْأَكْبَرُ وَ الْجَلْدُ حَدُّ اللَّهِ الْأَصْغَرُ.

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from one of his companions, from Aasim Bin Humeyd, Abu Abdullah asws having said: ‘The stoning is the bigger Penalty ( Hadd ) of Allah azwj , and the lashing is the smaller Penalty ( Hadd ) of Allah azwj ’.
