مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

يُضْرَبُ الرَّجُلُ الْحَدَّ قَائِماً وَ الْمَرْأَةُ قَاعِدَةً وَ يُضْرَبُ كُلُّ عُضْوٍ وَ يُتْرَكُ الرَّأْسُ وَ الْمَذَاكِيرُ.

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, form Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban, from Zurara, Abu Ja’far asws has said: ‘The man would be whipped by the Penalty ( Hadd ) while standing, and the woman whilst seated, and every body part can be whipped except for the head and the sexual parts’.
