عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع الزَّانِي إِذَا زَنَى جُلِدَ ثَلَاثاً وَ يُقْتَلُ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ يَعْنِي إِذَا جُلِدَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ.

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ubeyd, from Yunus, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘Abu Abdullah asws said: ‘The adulterer, when he commits adultery would be whipped three times (after three offences), and he would be killed during the fourth, meaning when he has (already) been whipped three times’.
