عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ مُثَنًّى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الزَّانِي إِذَا جُلِدَ الْحَدَّ قَالَ يُنْفَى مِنَ الْأَرْضِ إِلَى بَلْدَةٍ يَكُونُ فِيهَا سَنَةً.

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Abu Najran, from Musny Al Hanaat, (The narrator) says, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the adulterer when he is whipped the Penalty ( Hadd )’. He asws said: ‘He should be exiled from the land to a city to happen to be there for a year’.
