سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع- عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ بَيْنَهَا وَ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ قِصَاصٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ فِي الْجِرَاحَاتِ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ الثُّلُثَ سَوَاءٌ فَإِذَا بَلَغَتِ الثُّلُثَ ارْتَفَعَ الرَّجُلُ وَ سَفَلَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ.

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the woman between her and the man was retaliation. He asws said: ‘Yes, with regards to the injuries until it reaches the third (of the wergild), it is the same. So when it reaches the third, the man is higher and the woman is lower’.
