إِنْ كَانَ مَاتَ فِي بَطْنِهَا بَعْدَ مَا ضَرَبَهَا فَعَلَيْهِ نِصْفُ عُشْرِ قِيمَةِ أُمِّهِ وَ إِنْ كَانَ ضَرَبَهَا فَأَلْقَتْهُ حَيّاً فَمَاتَ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْهِ عُشْرَ قِيمَةِ أُمِّهِ.

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, both together, from Ibn Mahboub, from Nuaym Bin Ibrahim, from Abu Sayyar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws regarding a man who killed a foetus of a slave girl in her belly, (which was) for a people (not belong to him). So he asws said: ‘If it died inside her belly after her having been struck, so upon him is half of the price of his slave girl, and if she had been struck, so it was miscarried alive, so it died (afterwards), so upon him is a tenth of the price of his slave girl’.
