عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الدِّهْقَانِ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ أَكْمَلُ النَّاسِ عَقْلًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقاً.

English translationMuhammad Sarwar

17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ja‘far ibn Muhammad al-Ash‘ari from ‘Ubaydallah al-Dihqan from Durust from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid that Abu ‘Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) said: "The most perfect of people in intellect are the best of them in character."
