أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْسِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ‌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

الْعَدْلُ أَحْلَى مِنَ الْمَاءِ يُصِيبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَا أَوْسَعَ الْعَدْلَ إِذَا عُدِلَ فِيهِ‌ وَ إِنْ قَلَّ.

11. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kufi from ‘Ubays ibn Hisham from ‘Abd al-Karim from al-Halabi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Justice is sweeter than water for a thirsty man. How vast is justice if exercised on an issue, even if it is a little one!”
