إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُذْنِبُ الذَّنْبَ فَيُدْرَأُ عَنْهُ الرِّزْقُ وَ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ- إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّها مُصْبِحِينَ وَ لا يَسْتَثْنُونَ فَطافَ عَلَيْها طائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَ هُمْ نائِمُونَ.

12. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from al-Fudayl from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “A man commits a sin and it moves sustenance away from him and he (Imam) read this verse of the Holy Quran: ‘. . . when they swore to pluck all the fruits of the garden in the morning, (68:17) without adding, "if Allah wills" (18). A visitor (destruction) from your Lord circled (destroyed totally) around the garden during the night while they were asleep.’” (68:19)

[4]الآية نزلت في قوم كانت لابيهم جنة فكان يأخذ منها قوت سنته و يتصدق الباقي، فلما مات قال بنوه: إن فعلنا ما كان يفعل أبونا ضاق علينا الامر فحلفوا أن يقطعوها و قد بقى من الليل ظلمة داخلين في الصبح منكرين، و لم يستثنوا في يمينهم أي لم يقولوا: إن شاء اللّه، فطاف عليها بلاء أو هلاك« طائف» أي محيط بها و هذا كقوله سبحانه« وَ أُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِ» قيل: أحرقت جنتهم فاسودت و قيل: يبست خضرتها و لم يبق منها شيء. و الآيات في سورة القلم.ص 271
