Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Salih ibn al-Sindy from Ja’far ibn Bashir from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Do not engage in a disputation against either a forbearing or a thoughtless person; a forbearing person turns into your foe and a thoughtless person will hurt you.’”
