عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ السِّنْدِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ لَا تُمَارِيَنَّ حَلِيماً وَ لَا سَفِيهاً فَإِنَّ الْحَلِيمَ يَقْلِيكَ‌ وَ السَّفِيهَ يُؤْذِيكَ.

English translationMuhammad Sarwar

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Salih ibn al-Sindy from Ja’far ibn Bashir from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Do not engage in a disputation against either a forbearing or a thoughtless person; a forbearing person turns into your foe and a thoughtless person will hurt you.’”
