مَنْ قَالَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ مَا رَأَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ وَ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَاهُ فَهُوَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain individuals of his people from Abū ʿAbdillāh (AS) who said: "Whoever says about a believer what his eyes have seen and his ears have heard, he is among those whom Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, has said about: 'Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread among those who have believed will have a painful punishment.'" (24:19).
