قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع لَا تَثِقْ بِأَخِيكَ كُلَّ الثِّقَةِ فَإِنَّ صَرْعَةَ الِاسْتِرْسَالِ لَنْ تُسْتَقَالَ.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Isma’il from ‘Abd Allah ibn Wasil from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Do not trust your brother (friend) in totality; a sudden fall of attachment is never repairable.’”

[1]الصرعة بالكسر: الطرح على الأرض. و الاسترسال: الاستيناس و الطمأنينة الى الإنسان و الثقة به فيما يحدثه و أصله السكون و الثبات. و الاستقالة طلب الا الاقالة أي الفسخ في البيع أراد ان ما يترتب على زيادة الانبساط من الخلل و الشر لا دواء له و في الكلام استعارة و في بعض النسخ[ سرعة استرسال].ص 672
