Hadith record

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from Aban and Jamil from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), once demonstrated for us how the Messenger of Allah would take Wudu. He asked for a glass of water. He (the Imam) then with some water in the palm of his hand allowed it to flow down his face and wiped both sides of his face. He (the Imam) then with some water in the palm of his left hand allowed it to flow down his right hand and then wiped both sides. He (the Imam) with some water in the palm of his right hand allowed it to flow over his left and did as he had done to his right hand. Thereafter he, with whatever was left on his hand, wiped his head and feet but he did not place his hands in the water container (again).”
