Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from his father from ibn al-Mughirah from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah has said, “Do not strike water against your face when taking Wudu’. Allow the water to flow over your face.’”
