عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ السِّنْدِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع رُبَّمَا تَوَضَّأْتُ فَنَفِدَ الْمَاءُ فَدَعَوْتُ الْجَارِيَةَ فَأَبْطَأَتْ عَلَيَّ بِالْمَاءِ فَيَجِفُّ وَضُوئِي فَقَالَ أَعِدْ.

8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Salih ibn al-Sindiy from Ja‘far ibn Bashir from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I may sometimes begin to take Wudu’ but water is finished before Wudu’ is complete and I ask the slave-girl for more water; but she delays and my Wudu’ dries up. He (the Imam) said, ‘You must do your Wudu’ again.”’
