مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَمَّنْ قَرَأَ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ وَ هُوَ عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ وَ لَا يَمَسَّ الْكِتَابَ.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from abu Basir who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about one who reads from a copy of al-Mushaf (the book) without Wudu’. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful, but one must not touch the book in such condition.’”
