عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

إِذَا كَفَّنْتَ الْمَيِّتَ فَذُرَّ عَلَى كُلِّ ثَوْبٍ شَيْئاً مِنْ ذَرِيرَةٍ وَ كَافُورٍ.

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When you shroud a deceased, scatter fragrant powder and camphor on every piece of the shroud.’”
