1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Prepare good quality shroud for your deceased ones; it is beautification for them.’”

[1]يدل على كراهة تجمير الكفن كما ذكره الاصحاب قال العلامة في المختلف ص 47: قال الشيخ- رحمه اللّه-: يكره ان تجمر الاكفان بالعود و استدلّ باجماع الفرقة و عملهم. و قال أبو جعفر ابن بابويه: حنوط الرجل و المرأة سواء غير انه يكره ان تجمّر او يتبع بمجمرة و لكن يجمر الكفن. و الأقرب الأول؛ ثم ذكر- رحمه اللّه- روايتين تدلان على الجواز و حملهما على التقية و الأحوط الترك.( آت)ص 148
