5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn abu Najran from ‘Asem ibn Hamid from abu Basir who has said the following: “I heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), say, ‘If one walks in the procession for the burial of a deceased until Salah (prayer) for a deceased is complete and then returns back, his reward is one qirat. If one walks until burial is complete, his reward is two qirat and one qirat is of the size of the mountain of ’Uhud.’”
