مَاتَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ فَحَضَرْتُهَا فَلَمَّا صَلَّوْا عَلَيْهَا وَ رَفَعُوهَا وَ صَارَتْ عَلَى أَيْدِي الرِّجَالِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ضَعْهَا وَ لَا تَرْفَعْهَا وَ لَا تُزَكِّهَا قَالَ وَ كَانَتْ عَدُوَّةً لِلَّهِ قَالَ وَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ وَ لَنَا.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Abd Allah al-Hajjal from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from abu‘ Abd Allah or from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Once a woman of banu ‘Umayyah died and I was present in her funeral. When they performed Salah (prayer) and picked her body when on the hands of men he (the Imam) said, ‘O Lord, put her down and do not raise her and do not cleanse her.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘She was an enemy of Allah -I think he said- and our (enemy).”’
