بَابُ الْمَسْأَلَةِ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَ مَنْ يُسْأَلُ وَ مَنْ لَا يُسْأَلُ‌

عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ يُسْأَلُ الْمَيِّتُ فِي قَبْرِهِ عَنْ خَمْسٍ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِ وَ زَكَاتِهِ وَ حَجِّهِ وَ صِيَامِهِ وَ وَلَايَتِهِ إِيَّانَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ فَتَقُولُ الْوَلَايَةُ مِنْ جَانِبِ الْقَبْرِ لِلْأَرْبَعِ مَا دَخَلَ فِيكُنَّ مِنْ نَقْصٍ فَعَلَيَّ تَمَامُهُ.

15. It is narrated from him (narrator of the above Hadith) from his father in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that a deceased is asked in his grave about five issues. He is asked about his prayer, Zakat (paying charity), his Hajj, his fasting and about our, Ahl al-Bayt’s wilayah (guardianship) over him. Wilayah then from one side of the grave says to the others, ‘If you face any deficiency in your task (of protecting him), leave it for me to suffice?”
