20. Ibn abu ‘Umayr has narrated from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following: “Once I complained before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the disturbance of temptation in my mind. He (the Imam) said, ‘O abu Muhammad, speak (think) of your joints coming apart in your grave, and of your relatives abandoning you after your burial, worms coming out from your nose and other worms consuming your flesh; this will help you to overcome temptations.’ Abu Basir has said, ‘By Allah, whenever I did as he had told me to do I felt free from temptations.’”
