10. Abu Dawud has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah from al-Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Amr ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), “Can a man speak during Adhan?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’ I then asked, about ‘Iqamah. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not acceptable.’”
