28. Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Yahya ibn ‘Imran al-Halabiy from Muhammad ibn Marwan who has said the following: “I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘One who recites Adhan receives forgiveness for the sins as big as the space his voice fills and everything hearing him bears witness to this fact.’” (Ahadith 9-28 are best expressed in the form of fatwa.)

[3]في النهاية:« المؤذن يغفر له مدى صوته» المدى: الغاية اي يستكمل مغفرة اللّه إذا استنفذ وسعه في رفع صوته فيبلغ الغاية في المغفرة إذا بلغ الغاية في الصوت و قيل: هو تمثيل أى أن المكان الذي ينتهى إليه الصوت لو قدر أن يكون ما بين اقصاء و ما بين مقام المؤذن ذنوب تملأ تلك المسافة لغفرها اللّه له.ص 307
