3. It is a narration from him (narrator of previous Hadith) by his father from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah from Aban and Mu‘awiyah ibn Wahab who have said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that when you stand up for Salah (prayer), say this: ‘O Allah, I consider Muhammad, O Allah grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, to be in front of me in Your presence along with my wishes and needs and I turn to You through him. For the sake of his position before You, grant me honor in this and the next world and include me among those near You. Make my Salah (prayer) accepted through him, my sins forgiven and my prayer and wishes granted. You are forgiving and merciful.’””
