18. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Ali ibn Muhammad al-Qasaniy from Sulayman ibn Hafs al-Marwaziy who has said the following: “I wrote to abu al-Hassan Musa ibn Ja‘far (a.s.), about prostration for thanksgiving. He wrote back to me. ‘It is one hundred times ‘Shukran’ (O Lord, I thank You), or if you like, say “Afwan’ (O Lord, I beg forgiveness from You) one hundred times.’”
