الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَمَّ قَوْماً فِي قَمِيصٍ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ رِدَاءٌ فَقَالَ لَا يَنْبَغِي إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ رِدَاءٌ أَوْ عِمَامَةٌ يَرْتَدِي بِهَا.

3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amir Ali ibn Mahziyar from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Hisham ibn Salim from Sulayman ibn Khalid who has said the following: I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who leads a people in Salah (prayer) wearing a shirt without a gown. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not proper for him to perform Salah (prayer) without a gown or turban to dress up with.’”
