7. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Mahziyar from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Ash’ariy who has said the following: “Certain individuals of our people once wrote to abu Ja’far (a.s.), asking, ‘What do you say about fur purchased from al-Suq (marketplace)? He (the Imam) replied, ‘If it is (lawfully) guaranteed, then it is not an offense to buy it.’”
