18. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘A servant (of Allah) wakes up three times at night and if he still is not up (for Salah (prayer)) Satan comes and urinates in his ears.’ I then asked about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, ‘They would sleep very little at night’. (51:18) The Imam replied, ‘There were few nights in which they would miss getting up for Salah (prayer)).”’
