Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ja’far ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Ash’ariy from ibn al-Qaddah, from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.), who said: "The Messenger of Allah (sw) would first break his fast during the season of fresh dates with fresh dates, and during the season of dates, he would use dates.”
