Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and a number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad all from Ali ibn Mahziyar from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a child when he is made to assume the state of Ihram? He (the Imam) said, ‘When he safeguards and protects.’”

[2]الثغر من البلاد: الموضع الذي يخاف منه هجوم العدو فهو كالثلمة في الحائط يخاف هجوم السارق منها و الجمع ثغور مثل فلس و فلوس. و الثغر: المبسم ثمّ اطلق على الثنايا و إذا كسر ثغر الصبى، قيل ثغر: ثغورا بالبناء للمفعول و ثغرته أثغره- من باب نفع-: كسرته و إذا نبتت بعد السقوط.ص 276
